About Me
Hi there, I'm Kara, your Doula. My heart is full of love for both God and others I serve. My faith is the foundation in all that I do. My love for helping others started at a young age and I have always had a passion about God's creation of women to give birth and it is the driving force behind my passion for supporting families during such a pure and joyous time. I was raised in South Carolina however now I currently reside in Michigan. I am currently pursing a nursing degree to become a Midwife and further my career in assisting with births. I decided to become a birth Doula because I believe that pregnancy and childbirth is a beautiful, God-given experience that should be filled with peace, joy, and love. As a Doula who is dedicated, compassionate, and joyful, my mission is to support, advocate, and comfort you. Whether you want to give birth in a hospital, at home, or somewhere in between, I am here to guide, comfort, and support you every step of the way. With this being my first year as a doula I have been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow alongside of peers. I have had the privilege to learn how to support in a variety of different births and I have come to understand how to make both the birth, the months leading up to it, and the weeks following birth truly special. I am here to offer physical, emotional, and informational support through every moment, from the excitement and joy to the challenges and surprises. I will walk alongside you providing guidance through every emotion, during those late-night cravings, moments of uncertainty, and everything in between. Above all, I am committed to creating a nurturing and safe environment for you. I am not only here to advocate for you, but to help you feel cared for, supported and deeply informed during this joyous journey. That’s why we offer both a complimentary quick 10 minute phone call and a free 60-minute consultation. During the quick phone call I will introduce myself and get to know you a little before we met in person and during the in person consultation, we’ll chat about your hopes, any concerns you may have, what services I provide, how I can best support you, and the different packages we offer. Prenatal Package

For 6-60 minute appointments it is $650

House helper package
Loving care and practical support for your home and growing family.
When you’re welcoming a new baby and navigating the busyness of family life, our House Helper Services are here to provide the extra hands and the peace of mind you need. These services include a free consultation, visits up to two months after birth, and 1-3 helper visits per week that are scheduled according to your family’s needs and preferences between the hours of 8am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Please Note:
The House Helper is not doula care, postpartum doula care, or medical support. It is a separate offering designed to assist families as they adjust to life with a new baby by providing practical, gentle non-medical care with day-to-day tasks and childcare during this beautiful and busy season. As a house helper I also can aid as someone to talk. Although after birth can be a wonderful transition it can tend to be emotional and difficult, and as a house helper I can lend a listening ear.

For 1 house helper visit per week there is a fixed rate of $450 per month/$112 per week
For 2 house helper visits per week there is a fixed rate of $720 per month/$90 per week
For 3 house helper visits per week there is a fixed rate of $990 per month/82 per week
Birth Package
Includes a free consultation, unlimited texts/calls with me from 8am-8pm Mon-Sun unless emergency, on-call period starting at 30 weeks, unconditional emotional, physical, support and comfort during birth, and 1 - 120 minute max postpartum appointment.
